Michael Crooymans, MBCI
Business Continuity Management Consultant, Sogeti
Michael is a passionate and well experienced Business Continuity Management consultant at Sogeti. He currently actively serves the BCI and its members in various roles. He is Chair of the Global Membership Council where he also represents the Be/Ne Chapter of which he is a founding member. Michael leads the Netherlands Forum and is currently expanding the awareness of BCM in the region. He represents the BCI at the Dutch Standards Organisation’s (NEN) NCM Mirror committee where he is involved in the development of BCM (related) standards.
Michael has been involved with Business Critical systems (Tandem / HP NonStop) since 1985 and after switching to Business Continuity Management in 2003 he has helped many companies to implement and/or improve their BCM capability.
As a respected BCM Subject Matter Expert he is involved in various workgroups, presents on BCM, reviews updates to the GPG and training courses and also acts as judge for various BCI awards.
Michael won the 2015 BCI European Award: Continuity and Resilience Professional (Private Sector) and was shortlisted for the Global Award.Show less Show more
Roberto Grosso Ciponte, MBCI

In December 2000, I joined the Nestlé group where I was in charge of the Swiss Nespresso Club and later on for the Nespresso Club worldwide. It was during this time that I first got in contact with Business Continuity when I was given the mission to develop BCM solutions for the Customer Relationship Centres, which at that time where single points of contact for the brand and therefore single point of failure.
Since 2009 I have been in charge of Business Continuity Management for Nestlé and in 2014 I also took over the responsibility for our Global Loss Prevention programme as well as some other global insurance programmes.
Since 2013 I have been in charge of the BCI Forum in the French part of Switzerland and I have led the BCI Swiss Chapter since March 2015.Show less Show more
Andrew MacLeod, MBCI
Business Continuity and Crisis Management Director, Needhams 1834
Andrew MacLeod is an award winning business continuity and crisis management director with eleven years’ experience developed as a director at Needhams 1834, a leading independent provider of business continuity and crisis management consultancy, planning and training services, and previously as a business continuity project manager at Canary Wharf Group and an Army officer. He was the winner of the 2013 BCI Global BCM Newcomer of the Year and the 2013 BCI European BCM Newcomer of the Year, and has published articles on contemporary issues in leading business continuity and emergency planning journals and magazines, including the Journal of Business Continuity & Emergency Planning and Continuity Magazine. Andrew prepared the complete Needhams 1834 business continuity management system which was the first in the UK to receive certification to ISO 22301, and since then has supported more than 7 organisations in preparation for their successful certification to ISO 22301. He is certified as a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI) and an ISO 22301 Lead Auditor. In 2015 he was elected as a member of the BCI Global Membership Council, having been a committee member of the BCI London Forum since 2014. Additionally he was the Emergency Planning Society Representative on the BSI Technical Committee for the Crisis Management Standard BS11200. Previously Andrew was highly commended in the 2013 CIR Business Continuity Industry Newcomer of the Year and designed and developed the MRC E-Learning Package, which was highly commended in the 2013 CIR Business Continuity Initiative of the Year Category.Show less Show more

Ahmed has a wide experience of Business Continuity Management, Information Security Management, IT Disaster Recovery and IT Risk Management as he has worked in these sectors for over twelve years. He has used his knowledge and experience to contribute to both local and regional markets.
As a dedicated ambassador of Business Continuity, Ahmed is currently one of the leading business continuity consultants in the Middle East and worldwide. He regularly organizes voluntary events and seminars to promote the concept of business continuity amongst his clients, peers and other practitioners.
He has built an innovative model for business continuity management that can be easily adapted to any organization’s needs, but especially those operating in the MENA region that has an Arabic culture embedded in their working environment.
Ahmed has been recognized for his outstanding contribution to business continuity.
